I loved revenge movies. Mostly people who have been hurt badly and those with a strong sense of justice do make perfect revenge-hungry candidates.
Christians LOVE corrections. There is no doubt. The very label they carry as disciples point out that it is in their very nature to accept discipline.
If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward.
If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
(1 Corinthians 3:14-15 NASB)
I’m fed up of a mediocre Christian life where we just enjoy the fruits of God’s goodness.
We sing it in songs, we try to mean it with all our heart, yet, there are times we still seek some other forms of satisfaction.
Can God really be enough for me?
If at one point, all you can think of is a certain person or you can’t get the idea of getting married out of your head, then God isn’t enough for you yet.
If you are wondering, whether alcohol, tattoos, or cursing is permissive for a Christian, then God isn’t enough for you yet.
If you enjoy parties, watching secular movies and music, then unfortunately God isn’t enough for you yet either.
If you somehow believe patriotism for a nation other than God’s own Kingdom and Christianity go hand in hand, then definitely God (and His Kingdom) isn’t enough for you.
Many a people group have been mistreated in the past and unfortunately, it doesn’t stay there. It reverberates in the hearts of these victim’s descendants. A very interesting phenomenon seen for example in the attitude of Afro-Americans presently, although they themselves haven’t gone through their ancestor’s harsh trials.
